This was my year to stay home for Memorial Day (instead of the trek to Lund, Nevada). John helped organize and conducted the program for Lindon City.

The weather was cold and rainy. Look close and you can see the water pouring off the microphone and stand. John conducted the program and did a great job. This year they dedicated a new monument (waiting to be unveiled).
They retired the flag that's been flying at the cemetery and posted a new one. (Again, check out the rain coming down.)

I love this photo. Monument to Freedom with a church in the background. I'm grateful to the many men and women who sacrificed their lives so that we might enjoy freedom of religion.

I do love my men in uniform!
